| On what should have been a larger group, 5 of us headed out to Pinal to start training of a new member. Time was about 6:00PM when we arrived. It was a pretty nice evening temperatures ranged in the low 80's when we arrived. The mosquitos had another idea in mind for us though. Unarmed with bug spray...we muddled through until we couldn't take being eaten alive any longer. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. No orb photos, nothing on audio. For Pinal, this was unusal. About 20 minutes before we left, I (Kim) took Scott Lindsey to the back corner where the power line tower was to see if he could hear footsteps or witness any shadows. Scott was taking temperature readings at random spots, he got close to a Cholla cactus where the temperature dropped almost 15 degrees. Air temperature at this time was roughly 76'......readings on the digital thermometer were reading 49' to 56'. This was an area of about 3 feet square. Now this was really weird. Nothing was captured on photographs in this area either. We packed it up and left at 9:00PM. Approx. 80 photos were taken with nothing in them. Nothing on audio. Temperatures are listed above. |
