Big Nose Kate's Saloon Tombstone, AZ April 21, 2007
What an exciting weekend for us all. We had an early morning meeting spot at 9am and caravaned it to Tombstone. We arrived in Tombstone roughly at noon. We checked into our cabins, which were really great. Special Thanks to The Lucky Cuss Cabins for allowing our group to stay here. We toured the town, took in the re-enactment of the shootout at O.K. Corral. That was really fun and very interesting. Took a couple of tourist photos too! We had lunch at Big Nose Kate's and met up with manager Karen Zimmerman. THANK YOU KAREN for allowing us to spend the majority of the night in your wonderful Saloon! It was truly a memorable time! I'm sure NONE of us will forget. Speciall Thanks to Marlou & Bob for hanging out with us for the evening as well! After lunch, more touring of the town. We took in the Birdcage Theatre as well. That's an interesting place. Maybe one day we'll get back to Tombstone and do an investigation there as well. Our investigation of Kate's didn't begin until after midnight after the saloon closed. We took a tour of the saloon with Bob who showed us all the 'hot spots.' After the tour we began setting up equipment. A camera was set up in the main bar area, and one camera was set up by the tree in the back. Yep...a tree! According to the tombstone at the tree, a man was hung there, and the Saloon (which in that time would have been the Grand Hotel) built the building around the tree. It is quite and interesting thing to see. We had recorders set up at "Swamper's Room," at the tree, at the main bar and in the fitting room. Photos and EVP's are below. Everyone had personal experiences that evening. And one that one of our investigators will soon not forget. Our photos are never touched up---just tagged with our names. Should you have any comments----send them on to: EVPS1@aol.com
An extra special Thanks goes to Deputy Marshal JD DeMatteo for showing us around and taking such good care of us throughout the night.

Big Nose Kate's Originally was the Grand Hotel
Taken inside the Birdcage. Nice orb in the back.
This series of 3 photos was taken inside the Birdcage. Notice the blue orb in the center. You will see in the photo that is moves.

This series of photos was taken by Sara Acevedo inside the Birdcage. There are 2 others in the series, but these were the best ones. Notice that the orb has moved in each photo. Any ideas? Could this have been a spirit trying to make their presence known to her?
This next series of photos was taken to try to "debunk" a photo that has been seen on the internet on many sites as being an authentic "Ghost" photo. You will see, this was very easy to recreate. The 1st photo is the photo that has been seen on the internet on many other sites, and has been sent to other Paranormal Groups. The 2nd photo---taken by Kim Mann, clearly shows investigator Adam Kadrmas (the 'ghost') with his reflection in the Black Mariah. Adam was just outside the photo range just to the right of the photographer. You can see his face just like the 1st photo. Click on each photo to see it inlarged. You will see the "Ghost" much better.
This photo take by Russ Mann clearly shows Rodney Mann as the "ghost" man. I think our group can clearly saw this is NOT an authentic photo of a ghost. Questions?? Comments?? Send them to: EVPS1@aol.com
Adam Kadrmas at dinner eating a ton of ribs, which he never did finish.
Russ Mann at the beginning of a 1 pound burger which he finished along with fries.
Taken by Randi inside Big Nose Kate's. Here several investigators feel a cold spot that kept moving around the room. All a/c and coolers were shut off so there was no breezes coming from the overhead vents.
Taken in Swamper's Room. A nice solid orb in the rear of the room.
Taken in the fitting room downstairs. A nice solid orb on investigator Kim Mann's shirt. Several investigators spent time in this room and felt they were not alone. Photo taken by Cyndi Ranes
This photo also taken by Cyndi Ranes shows a face behind her. There was no-one behind her, but 2 other investigators on each side of her.
This is the same photo as above. Just blown up to show the area where the face is seen. Right after this photo was taken Cyndi had to leave the fitting room as she was shoved from behind by unseen hands.
Taken by Ken Wenzel. Is this a photo of the girl that shoved Cyndi in the fitting room?
This photo was taken in the old Town Hall. Thanks to Deputy Marshal JD for showing us around Tombstone! We had a great time!!
And last but not least are a couple of EVP's captured by Eric Wenzel. He seems to have the hot recorder these days. These were all captured down in the fitting room. These 4 were captured at different times throughout the time we spent in the fitting room. He thinks the lady saying this to him didnt like him much, let alone any man for that reason. The atmosphere changed from almost hostile to nothing when a man was in or near the room. Here is all 4. Die 1 Die 2 Die 3 Die 4 Moan
There is still some audio to go through, so more EVP's may be added. Should you or your group have ANY questions or comments on our photographs, please send all inquiries to: EVPS1@aol.com
